Her practical work ranges from residential design, to Co-op Housing, and teamwork on the National Gallery of Canada competition. Her research, entitled "Constructing critical theory through the telling of stories" received a National Teaching Award from the Amercian Institute of Architects. She has been awarded grants for her work on the interface of architecture and biography. She has a passion for drawing and watercolor painting.
